You are my refuge and my shield;

I have put my hope in your word.  (Psalms 119:114)

 

For you have been my hope,

O Sovereign Lord,

my confidence since my youth.

But as for me, I will always have hope;

I will praise you more and more. (Psalms 71: 5,14)

 

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,

and in his word I put my hope. (Psalms 130: 5)

  

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,

I wait for God my Savior; My God will hear me. (Micah 7: 7)
